" Through completing 'Foundations in Biomedical Science I and II' I have accomplished exactly what I set out to do: to learn biology well enough to understand what my biology-versed colleagues at FNLCR and NCI are talking about. I could have tried to read a textbook on my own but I would have had no idea what to focus on and what was important. The instructor's thoughtful guidance and reinforcement of the most important, basic concepts was exactly what I needed. The directed readings of a good textbook and quizzes with the ability to retake them multiple times appealed to exactly how I learn best. "
