FAES Sponsors National Symphony Orchestra Performance at the NIH on June 22

The NIH‬ Clinical Center and ‪FAES‬ are pleased to announce a performance by the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) on Wednesday, June 22nd at 1:30 p.m. in the Clinical Research Center (Bldg. 10) Atrium.
The orchestra, conducted by Francesco Lecce-Chong with solist David Teie, cello, will perform Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, Op 67 24, Beethoven’s Overture to The Creatures of Prometheus, Op. 43 5', and Dvorak’s Silent Woods for Cello and Orchestra. Lesli Foster from WUSA9 will narrate the performance.
This visit to the NIH is part of the NSO Sound Health initiative which brings orchestral music to area hospitals and medical centers.
Patients, family members, visitors and staff are encouraged to attend.Join us in welcoming the National Symphony Orchestra at the NIH Clinical Research Center Atrium on Wednesday, June 22 at 1:30 pm.
