FAES has a long history of providing a wide range of continuing educational offerings in order to meet the needs of working professionals at the NIH and the local community. Our high-quality and innovative courses are offered by active researchers and faculty in a dynamic, culturally diverse learning setting. The FAES Graduate School at NIH offers over 150 evening courses annually, organized around eight academic departments.
Course offerings vary from semester to semester, so please check out our Course Catalog to learn more about upcoming courses. Once you have found a course (or courses) that interest you, click here to apply and register.
FAES courses are taught by highly qualified faculty, most of whom are active researchers at the NIH. Courses in the applied disciplines, such as technology transfer or modern languages, are frequently taught by practitioners active in their field. A great number of our courses are team taught, and our students can benefit from the expertise of over 150 dedicated faculty.
Background on and contact information for our faculty are available in the Biographies section of our Catalog of Courses or in the Student Portal once students have enrolled in a course.
