Adding spotlight items, events, news articles and blog posts is quick and easy! Since these span the whole site, in ther words, they are not section specific, we need to access the global content section. We have used spotlights as an example in the screencast, but the proccess is the same.
- Choose Content > Add Content > Spotlight Item (or event) from the dropdown menu.
- Pay particular attention to the categories, this will control where things are displayed on the site.
- If you dont see the new item listed in feeds right away, dont panic! Drupal caches views to ensure that your site loads fast, so sometimes we need to reset the cache so it updates its lists.
