FAES has meeting spaces available both on and off the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland. Meeting rooms are managed by FAES and must be reserved in advance by submitting the Reservation Request Form (below) at least three weeks prior to a scheduled event. Note that requests to reserve an FAES Classroom or the FAES Terrace in Bldg. 10 must be submitted to NIH Events Management.
- The FAES Education and Conference Suite, located on the second floor of Bldg. 10, Room 2C116, offers 1,000 sq. ft. of meeting space with a monitor, rolling whiteboard, and detached tables and chairs that can be configured to suit many purposes. The Education and Conference Suite also has a coat closet and a private, attached caterer's kitchen.
- The FAES Social and Academic Center, located off-campus adjacent to the NIH in Bethesda at the corner of West Cedar Lane and Old Georgetown Road, is currently closed.
Please submit the request form below at least three weeks before your scheduled event to reserve the FAES Education and Conference Suite 2C116 in Building 10. The room has the following technical capabilities: 18 network ports, 70-inch monitor, and is Wifi ready. Specific questions should be directed to the FAES Admin Office at 301-594-8985.
Reservations are subject to availability and approval by FAES. Requests are for space use only, Audio-Visual (AV) or Technical support is not provided. Furniture arrangement is the responsibility of requesting party. Please contact NIH Events Management for AV/Technical needs.
Directions to the FAES Education and Conference Suite 2C116, Building 10:
From the South Entrance of Building 10: Take the corridor toward Masur Auditorium, and turn left to access the elevator bank. Take the elevators to the 2nd floor and walk toward the cafeteria. Enter the dining area on the right, walk through it, keeping to the right at the glass atrium/walkway. Go through the glass doors at the atrium, passing by the Nursing Office, and take an immediate left, the FAES Education and Conference Suite entrance is the second door on your right.
