FAES Lunch and Learn Leadership Series for NIH Trainees - Our next event will be on Monday, January 28, 2019 with special guest speaker Dr. James Gilman, CEO of the NIH Clinical Center.

Join the FAES Bookstore @ NIH for a meet & greet with Kwame Christian, Esq., Director of the American Negotiation Institute, author, and attorney. His work focuses on conflict management, negotiation, and workplace communication. In addition to his work as an attorney and mediator, he has also presented his own TEDx talk, and hosts a podcast with a worldwide audience. His book is available for purchase at the FAES Bookstore @ NIH.

Registration occurs on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline for registration is one week before the first day of the course.  If you are unable to register before the deadline, please email: registrar@faes.org or call 301-496-7977 for space availability. 

NIH Fellows or NIH community members being sponsored by their lab can enroll tentatively, using the Contract: SF-182 option on the workshop’s registration site while waiting for authorization of payment. Enrollment is not guaranteed until payment is received.

Nerds in Harmony is a group of talented, musical scientists and the only co-ed a cappella ensemble at NIH. In addition to two
yearly concerts at the CC Atrium, they also perform at charity events, community centers and even street corners.

Special Speaker for FAES Lunch and Learn Leadership - Dan Goodman, serial entrepreneur, consultant, advisor and educator

Dan Goodman has founded or co-founded 14 companies and three non-profit organizations since 1970. He has held leadership roles in several fields including industrial product development, technology commercialization, renewable energy, venture capital, and organizational development. 

FAES will be closing at 3PM on Wednesday, Novmeber 21, 2018 and will reopen on Monday, November 26, 2018.
