Academic Programs at the NIH (FAES) and the IIG Steering Committee is pleased to announce that the 2023 NIH/FDA Immunology Interest Group Symposia on Barrier Immunity will be held as an in-person meeting on November 15 to 17, 2023 at the Natcher Building on the NIH Bethesda Campus.

Endocrinology Review

This fully online review course will cover the development of efficient and cost-effective approaches to the clinical, laboratory, and radiologic diagnosis of endocrine disease, with emphasis on recent advances.

Who Should Attend
Physicians preparing for the endocrinology subspecialty board examination and physicians certified in endocrinology who wish to remain abreast of recent advances in the field.

University of Maryland Jazz Quintet

FAES will host the University of Maryland Jazz Quintet on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 12:30pm in the NIH Clinical Research Center Atrium. The Combo plays an array of old and new jazz standards, bringing a sense of the classic and the contemporary to a live jazz setting. Faculty members, students and alumni make up the group. Limited seating will be available on the 1st floor of the Atrium, with additional viewing available on the 3rd – 7th floors. National Symphony Orchestra at the NIH

The NIH Clinical Center and the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences are pleased to announce a concert by the full National Symphony Orchestra on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 1:30 pm in the Clinical Research Center (Bldg.10) Atrium. 

Patients, their family members, visitors and staff are encouraged to attend. Limited seating will be available on the 1st floor of the Atrium, with additional viewing available on the 3rd – 7th floors.

Manchester String Quartet

Please join us on Monday, October 23, 2023 for the Manchester String Quartet performance of Tchaikovsky Souvenir de Florence in d minor, Opus 70 at the National Institutes of Health. The concert is free and begins at 12:30 p.m. in the Clinical Center Atrium, Building 10.
